IT HAPPENED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE CHICAGO CUBS ARE GOING TO THE WORLD SERIES FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 1945!!!!!!!!! THE 71 YEAR WAIT IS OVER! THEY MADE IT! THEY DID IT! NO ONE MESSED UP THEIR SHOT TO MAKE IT IN THE WORLD SERIES!! MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS TO CHICAGO! *Sad part below* Still in shock that one of the biggest storylines in baseball happened today. It took 71 years for this to happen. 71. So many lifetimes have passed and grandparents would have to be a young age in 1945 to even remember when this happened. This team deserves this so much because I remember this team being a laughing stock years ago. The White Sox got their glory before they did. The White Sox. Come on! This moment has to happen some year and the odds became better this year because one of the hardest steps to getting there is completed. Farewell to the DodgersHow sad that this team had to be the one that had to see the rest of the nation celebrating over the team that elimimated yours. I feel the pain for this team right now because I have been there a few times.
This season really surprised me. I did not see this team going far in the predictions because I thought about how big of a hole the rotation had with Greinke gone, a new manager, and a bullpen that needed work. I thought the predictions overestimated the team. I was wrong. I could not believe that this team made it to the League Championship but either them or the Nationals had to break the norm this year. I also could not believe how this team scrapped together wins without their prized pitcher. So many rookies came in to fill the hole and they survived for the most part on the mound. I also saw the bullpen improve after a rough start and that was surprising. This was a surprising team and I do not think that Dodger fans should point fingers because they did everything they could for a team that was not supposed to make it here. They can still keep the best players from this year and then get rid of the excess players in the outfield and they can do well next year. There is no time to panic because there is a possible Manager of the Year candidate and Rookie of the Year winner still on the team. The only problem is that the Cubs are amazing and are driven by a 108 year drought. Leave a Reply. |
