You thought I was going to leave out the fun of this holiday on an off day?! No way, José (Ramirez)!
If you need any last minute ideas for tonight, I got your back! We have the day off to settle down after the craziness that was last night. I guess Cleveland will host another game. The good news about that is that the Cubs were able to leave their fans with happy memories and that should be all that matters. Cleveland is a great team though and they will make it tough for Chicago to do the full comeback. We'll see on November 1st...
I can't believe we get to go from April to November. What a season. Fun Fact: The last time a team won the World Series from a 3-1 deficit was in 1985 by the Kansas City Royals. And who did they beat? The St. Louis Cardinals, a hated rival by the team with the 3-1 deficit in tonight's game. Do or Die tonight!!! Which one will the Cubs pick?! If they've given their fans a 108 year wait, they better pick do or at least put in some effort to win.
Now the Indians are just one win away and they can win for Cleveland in Chicago! Chicago has a good chance of champagne showers but if the home team decides to make tonight a dry forecast, then Cleveland will get the champagne showers on Tuesday or Wednesday. Do you think the Cubs can win tonight? I think they have a good chance because I have trouble believing that they are over. They just don't go out like this. They did well against Bauer last time, so let's see what happens tonight! What a series it's been so far!! So happy we get to see these two teams play in the series of a lifetime! Enjoy these great and historical snapshots! Cleveland IndiansOnly one win away before this team makes Cleveland the new City of Champions. Chicago CubsThree more wins and a complete comeback can do what Cleveland did to Golden State back in the NBA Finals. That would be ironic.
CLEVELAND 7 Chicago 2 This game... it just made me feel bad for those who paid over $3000 for this game.
I did enjoy seeing Cleveland show the country that they are not to be messed with. Just like LeBron said, "It's Cleveland against the world" (I may reference this in the future!). Most of the country wants the Cubs and I totally understand but this Cleveland team has been grossly underrated and I am happy to see them do this. With that being said, tomorrow is huge for both teams and the Cubs better shape up if they want to give their fans something to *happy* cry about. With Game 4 on right now, here are some tweets from last night to keep you occupied during the breaks! Flaunt that star power, Cubbies! Always stay true to your team, especially when your rival is doing well. Yowch. "Hey, why aren't you watching my game right now?" every single game. If you watch the games, you know what I'm talking about.
Game 4 Things to Remember: John Lackey is pitching in his 6th World Series game. This is his third World Series appearance in his career and he won two World Series rings when he was 23 with the '02 Angels and 34 with the '13 Red Sox. Now at 37, Lackey clearly knows how to win a game with high stakes.
What time is it in Chicago?! It's Tribe Time now!
Well, it was more of a pitcher's duel than anything. Both guys looked great and did great because one run was all Cleveland needed to win the game. Not sure if you heard this during the game but Tomlin's father was paralyzed recently by a disease but he was well enough to see his son pitch in the World Series and he hopes to recover soon. I love hearing about all the players' stories regarding the World Series. This is every little boy's drean come true. Yay, Cubs!
We've been waiting 71 years for this game!! The day has arrived where a World Series game is played at Wrigley Field. The poor stadium has been so deprived of this and has suffered for over seven decades. Let's see Hendricks do some solid work in the postseason tonight. Yay, Indians! Alright, enough with the pity storyline of the Cubs! The poor Indians have not been viewed as the favourite in this series and I think it's time we see that both sides could easily win this. They obviously deserve to be here because they swept the Red Sox (goodbye, Papi!) and beat Toronto 4-1. They spoiled seasons of two promising teams in the East and they aren't afraid to do that to a team in the NL Central. Keep your eye out for the Tribe because they always manage to fly under the radar. Isn't flying under the radar usually considered dangerous? |
