You thought I was going to leave out the fun of this holiday on an off day?! No way, José (Ramirez)!
If you need any last minute ideas for tonight, I got your back! We have the day off to settle down after the craziness that was last night. I guess Cleveland will host another game. The good news about that is that the Cubs were able to leave their fans with happy memories and that should be all that matters. Cleveland is a great team though and they will make it tough for Chicago to do the full comeback. We'll see on November 1st...
I can't believe we get to go from April to November. What a season. I don't know about you, but the amount of days since the postseason began is [look above]. It's been a good ride so far and the fun does not stop because we are going back Chi-Town tomorrow! Since we need preparation for the madness of tomorrow, here's some things to get you ready! $$$$How much of your soul, arm, and leg are you willing to sell to see the game in Wrigley? If you don't live near Chicago, you also have to add the plane ticket, hotel, and other travel expenses to the cost of the ticket. I think I'll keep my soul, arm, leg, car, house, etc. for now. WeatherThose pitchers better warm up their arms tomorrow! It's not Cleveland cold but it sure ain't summer anymore. Pump up musicThe best tunes from the best teams. Who's going to win today (or tomorrow)? What time is it?!Twenty days into the playoffs and here we are...
Welcome to the time we've been waiting for! Now some have been waiting longer than others (71 years or 19 years) but that does not take away fans from other teams' excitement! This is baseball at its finest and I expect to see a great series from both teams. Here we go!! This is what to expect for tomorrow! Don't know who to go for? We've got you covered! No matter who you choose, it's a win-win!
Time to reminisce about this week and bring back both the Blue Jays and Dodgers. The two league champions will also be shown too because they deserve it all!
Just waiting for Tuesday.... Best Tweets of Last NightTwitter erupted last night once the Cubs actually made it to the World Series and won the National League. It is only fitting to share a nice array of reactions from that iconic moment.
Is this our final game before the World Series?! Will this be the actual moment for the Cubs?! Will we see Cubs vs. Indians?!
Or... Will Kershaw save the day again? Will the announcers finally stop sweet talking the Cubs? Will the Dodgers prove that they were down but not out? We shall see tonight. No baseball today?! What ever shall we do???! O, woe is me! Might as well watch some videos to hold ourselves over. Starting with...
Goodnight to those on the West Coast and good morning to those waking up in the East Coast or Midwest!
Fell asleep before the game ended? That's okay! We have you covered! Tonight was a diluted version of last night basically. Still big hits from Russell and errors from the Dodgers but not as horrific. They really are cleaning up their act but they still did some things that cost them runs. In their defense, Chapman did look very passive in the 9th when he was supposed to be intense and close out the game. His performance is why the Dodgers got up to 4 runs and fared better than yesterday. Takeaways from tonight: Rizzo is still hitting which is great news for Cubs fans and bad news for the Dodgers. Russell is a new unlikely hero. The Dodgers bullpen needs to get it together. Toles did much better tonight than last night. Kershaw is getting ready for his next and most important battle (They showed him doing shadow pitching). |
