Happy Father's Day to everyone! Hope you all go out to a ball game or just enjoy the day with someone you love. This week features the Central Division and goes in order of their standings. What is interesting about the Central right now is that the Brewers are leading it in the National League. Many would have predicted them being in last place, but the Reds occupy that place instead while the Pirates are in second to last. Maybe the magic from the Stanley Cup can help them this year? For the American League, Minnesota is still tied for first with Cleveland. Again, Minnesota has been another surprise in the Midwest and they have not slowed down yet. Cleveland is a surprise in how they have not been dominating much this year, but Chicago has that issue as well. They have the talent to turn it around and they are not too far down the standings to panic completely. It's still the first half of baseball and they have ways to go to get back to the postseason and go on another run. Leave a Reply. |
