Today's Action: We may actually find out the burning question of who will be in the Stanley Cup tonight and end this 42 day-long wait. Tonight could be another step in the path to repeating and defending the Stanley Cup for Pittsburgh. All of these visions could easily be silenced by Ottawa if they return to their form from the beginning of the series. They are just one great game by Craig Anderson and Erik Karlsson away from going to Game 7. If Pekka Rinne can finally go to the Cup, why not Anderson? Yesterday's Score: For the first time ever, Nashville will go to the Stanley Cup. Yep, that's right, your daily dose of P.K. will continue to get better.
Today's Action: Nashville has the chance to go to their first ever Stanley Cup and do that in front of their home crowd. How priceless would that be? Well, only for those at home because tickets are probably really expensive... Yesterday's Score: Pay back is a bi-- big theme for this series! What did you think I would say?
Today's Action: In dramatic fashion, the Ducks made the series even in the last game with the classic OT goal by Corey Perry that they so loved and adored. Nashville will most definitely put the pressure on in their road game tonight, even without Ryan Johansen (who is OUT for the rest of the playoffs and for up to 2-3 months). Let's see what happens tonight! Yesterday's Score: It's officially Murray time as Fleury did his job in the first two rounds, but will have to give him the reins. The series is not over yet and the next game is going to show that with both teams putting forward the best effort on defense and offense (for Ottawa, those two mix it up).
Today's Action: Pittsburgh definitely needs tonight to bounce back after such a tough loss in game 3. The Senators and Sens Army will not allow them to win this one and embrace being the underdog in the series because it fuels their fire.
Today's Action: Today could be a turning point for the Predators and a defining game for the Ducks. Hopefully the Ducks will show more effort even when things get tough and expect to see Nashville being physical again. Anaheim usually does well after a loss so maybe that will happen tonight. Yesterday's Score: Ouch. Sorry, Pens.
Today's Action: Yesterday's Score: Roman Josi wins it in the third while the Ducks looked like they lost hope at that time.
Today's Action: This matchup offers an exciting rivalry between Ryan Kesler and Ryan Johansen after both players have shown their hard feelings for each other on the ice and even off of it. Keep your eyes on the face off circles because that's where all the chirps and great scoring chances will be made. Yesterday's Score: Recap: Phil Kessel is a game winner.
Today's Action: Bobby Ryan came alive as the hero for the Senators on Saturday so who's next? Will we see another OT or will this be something else? Maybe Pittsburgh can split the series before going on the road. Yesterday's Score: A two goal deficit in the first period was erased by the Ducks after they scored a powerplay goal to end the first. Yes, I did say that they scored on a powerplay. No, I am being serious. Okay. You can now stop being shocked.
Anyways, the game then was tied twice in the second and then Anaheim took the lead and scored an empty net to take away Nashville's chance of going 2-0. The series will now go to Nashville and expect goalie chants and more physical play (more blood?) since both teams are not afraid to be dirty. |
ThoughtOne century of this game and League is a wonderful milestone to celebrate. Let's hope to do this in the next century! Archives
