Today's Action: The Preds can close it out tonight while it's anyone's game in the Pacific tonight. There will definitely be good hockey on this lovely Cinco de Mayo! Yesterday's Scores: Rangers don't even want to give up in this series because that is not a viable option. I wonder who will respond in the next game...
Today's Action: May the Fourth be with one of the teams today. Say it with me, "I am with the Fourth, the Fourth is with me" and repeat it for your team to win.
Today's Action: Ottawa is the sole Eastern game for tonight as they hope to take on the Big Apple with a big win on the road. They will have obstacles to face with Brady Skjei being historically great right now, but the rest of his team is not producing like they should. Maybe a devastating loss from Saturday's blown game will motivate them to react differently because the home crowd needs that from them. The Predators are hoping to play their next game at home in the third round after tonight. The defense looks great for them with Pekka Rinne again being awesome and the blue line doing their job and more. Jake Allen and Vladimir Tarasenko need to come back in this game and lead their team to tie this series going back home.
Today's Action: Just one game today since we can only handle so much of the playoffs! Pittsburgh arrives home today to take the 3-0 series lead and continue their dominance over Washington. Clearly, Washington needs to wake up and bring back their great offense while also controlling their defense against a red hot Penguins offense. Good luck with that. Yesterday's Scores: Wow! Nashville's defensemen step it up once again! This team is terrifying in the playoffs and no team can afford to underestimate them right now. St. Louis needs to get over the pressure from the home team and hopefully Jake Allen can return to his amazing self, but that's easier said than done. What a game! It went from a hot start for Anaheim (3 goals in one period?! Who are they?!) to a great Edmonton comeback (Are you not entertained?!) to a quick rebound from Anaheim that led to a big win for the team. John Gibson played one of the best games in his playoff career while Cam Talbot was not perfect for once. The Ducks' offense was awake and ready to play and saw bounces go their way. It was a different game for the series and the next game will be huge for both teams, either Anaheim builds off from this to tie it up or Edmonton goes back to its ways.
