Yesterday, news came out that we lost Ravens cornerback, Tray Walker, to a dirt bike crash from Thursday. The news is absolutely tragic because he was only 23 years old and still had plenty of time to make an impact in his career. He also was a great man and had a great heart. He will surely be missed by teammates, coaches, friends, and family. All condolences go out to his family at this time.
Walker's passing also reminds us that life is short. We are not invincible and we have to value our lives. We should spend time with friends and family and really build great relationships with them. We never know when they could be gone. Also, Walker was not wearing a helmet or bright clothing when he crashed, so the other vehicle that hit him couldn't see him. Please remember to always wear a helmet when riding a bike and wear bright clothing at night. These things happen and we must try and prevent them as much as we can. Be safe and remember that life is sacred. We will miss you, Tray. Leave a Reply. |
