We're already to the part where we have bye weeks! For those of you on bye weeks, you could be relieved or maybe not because you miss your team. Take your time to enjoy the day though! Football is fun but stressful so relax! Watch everyone else lose instead of your own team! I would freak out a little if you support Cleveland because they face Brady next week but we'll talk about that later... Enjoy the rest, Green Bay and Philadelphia!
Especially Philadelphia because they killed it! Definitely hoping to see Carson Wentz do great things for that team and city. For those who do not have a television, head on over to Twitter at 8:25 pm ET to watch Houston at New England! For those who have been out of the loop, New England will start Jacoby Brissett, their fourth round draft pick this year, since Garoppolo is injured. If we lose Brissett tonight, Julian Edelman will come in as quarterback. What a season already?! The good news about this game for Patriots fans is that Rob Gronkowski is back in action! Great news for Texans fans (but bad news for Brissett) is that JJ Watt is continuing to improve! Also, Osweiler has a good shot of beating this team so this will be interesting... NOTE: TIMES ARE IN PACIFIC STANDARD!
Super excited to have football again (the honeymoon will wear off eventually?). Sundays are just fantastic because it's covered with football. Another great thing is that when your team is not playing on Sundays or if they are on earlier or later, you can go out to public places and be mostly alone! I really enjoy that about football season! Enough about me.. So! We have home openers for certain teams (including the first regular season game that actually matters in Los Angeles!) and then a rematch between Kansas City and Houston (remember when KC obliterated them in the playoffs? Sorry.) I think this week looks pretty good! Reminder: The times are in Pacific Standard Time!
I can't believe we are back to this! It's been since February since football and even longer since we have had this many teams playing in one week! I'm so happy to be back and I am hoping for an even better season this year. The fun starts today with a Super Bowl match up and the rest unfolds on Sunday and Monday (with TWO games!!). Oh and there's a team now from Los Angeles. Ever heard of them lately? This is a pretty big deal for the fans in Los Angeles because it has been a long time. So long that a generation has not been around the NFL, unless they travel a couple hours to see another team. Not to be cliché but this marks a new beginning. ** TIMES ARE IN PACIFIC STANDARD!! EAST COAST TIMES ARE THREE HOURS AHEAD SO PLEASE DO NOT FOLLOW THESE!
