Goodnight to those on the West Coast and good morning to those waking up in the East Coast or Midwest! Fell asleep before the game ended? That's okay! We have you covered! Tonight was a diluted version of last night basically. Still big hits from Russell and errors from the Dodgers but not as horrific. They really are cleaning up their act but they still did some things that cost them runs. In their defense, Chapman did look very passive in the 9th when he was supposed to be intense and close out the game. His performance is why the Dodgers got up to 4 runs and fared better than yesterday. Takeaways from tonight: Rizzo is still hitting which is great news for Cubs fans and bad news for the Dodgers. Russell is a new unlikely hero. The Dodgers bullpen needs to get it together. Toles did much better tonight than last night. Kershaw is getting ready for his next and most important battle (They showed him doing shadow pitching). Leave a Reply. |
