Connor McDavid, the eighteen-year-old rookie for Edmonton, will be out for months with a fractured clavicle, according to NHL.com. McDavid crashed into the boards with two players following him yesterday against Philadelphia.
He leaves with 5 goals and 7 assists in 13 games. His absence is a huge loss for Edmonton because their players were playing better ever since he arrived to the team. He was also starting to get comfortable in the league and with his team. Hopefully he can get well soon and return even better than he was before. Best of luck to the Oilers during this time.
