Interesting history so far for this team. 2. The Chargers only spent one season (1960) in the Coliseum and then moved to Balboa Stadium in San Diego.Why only one season? Los Angeles fans are not known to be the most loyal when it comes to football and they did not show up at Chargers games. 3. From 1961-66 the Chargers played at Balboa Stadium which is now used for high school games.The first stadium is located 8.2 miles away from the new stadium. 4. The Chargers then moved to their current stadium, now called Qualcomm, in 1967. |
