Hey, everyone! Hope you enjoyed Week 1 as much as I did. If you did not see the post before, go ahead and check it out to see how great the rookie RB class looked last week. Deshone Kizer was on there as well because he certainly impressed with his debut. This week starts off with two teams who did not get what they wanted in their first games, so it will be nice to see who can win this matchup... Now let's go over this week: TODAY! Sunday, 9/17: Game to Watch: Philadelphia at Kansas City Why?: Both teams won nicely last week (30-17, PHI vs. 42-27, KC) and featured great performances by their quarterbacks. Carson Wentz excited people in the start to his sophomore season while Alex Smith shocked people by having arguably the best game of his career (and he's been around for awhile now). This matchup will be decided by the defenses because we already saw great offensive performances from both teams. Game to Watch: Miami at Los Angeles (Chargers) Why?: It feels so weird not to put down San Diego but it's time for change... This will be the first game at the intimate soccer stadium for the Chargers and the season opener for Miami. Los Angeles was close to winning on Monday but they ended up losing. They do show signs of promise while Miami is mostly a mystery. Jay Cutler came out of retirement for this team and let's hope that was a good decision. If you want to see a new stadium and Cutler in a new jersey, make your way to this game! Game to Watch: Green Bay at Atlanta Why?: New stadium! Defending NFC champs! Matt Ryan and Aaron Rodgers! What more could you want from a primetime matchup? Green Bay was great in their first game and that should be much of a surprise from a team that was close to another Super Bowl last year. Atlanta won their first game as well which is already a great start considering that teams that lose the Super Bowl have a lackluster next season. We'll see how they both do on Sunday night.
