Another Thursday with the Cowboys? And Vikings? Okay then. If the Vikings want to stay alive in their division and beat the best team in the NFC, tonight is their night! Do I think that they can do it? Strange things can happen (doesn't Dallas have a problem with December?) but I feel that Dallas will still win this one. Just watch last week's game against Washington, a closely-matched team, and you can see why they are picked to win. Games to Watch: Kansas City at Atlanta: Did you see Kansas City defeat the Broncos in OT?! That's exactly why you need to watch them this week (and the next and the next...) Just watch every team in the AFC West this week because they will give you a good game. Also, Atlanta is leading their division right now and they need to keep winning to keep that lead. Both teams want to keep the playoffs in their near future and these upcoming games are crucial. Miami at Baltimore: Same deal here! Miami is winning right now and they can't stop unless they want to miss the playoffs. I don't think they do but I also think that Baltimore will give them a challenge because they're tied with Pittsburgh in the two horse race in the AFC North. Keep your eye on the AFC North because it's going to go down to the wire. Games to Watch: San Francisco at Chicago: Want to watch two teams fighting for a draft pick being forced to win? Here's your game! Don't know who to root for? Go for the Bears since their third string QB (now starter!!) Matt Barkley is searching for his first NFL win. Everyone loves a good underdog story and this game sure has one. Denver at Jacksonville: Always go for a team in the AFC West. If Chiefs lose and Denver wins, they can get right back to second. They need to win games like these to prove they deserve to go to the playoffs. Detroit at New Orleans: Detroit is a good team but New Orleans is coming off a high from beating Los Angeles to the ground last week. This should be close since both are contenders, with Detroit trying to break away from the rest of their division and New Orleans trying to be relevant in their tight division. Games to Watch:
Buffalo at Oakland: They keep winning. Nothing can stop them. They are the Buffalo Bills. I'm kidding! I meant the Raiders! Last week Derek Carr dislocated his pinkie during the game but still managed to come back and win! How?! I really don't know. They have the most penalized offense but yet they still win games thanks to their offense. Weird and unorthodox way to win but it's working... New York Giants at Pittsburgh: Two classic teams face off with two famous quarterbacks in a once every four years matchup. The thing about the Giants this year is that their defense looks better than before. Can they hold the great Antonio Brown and Le' Veon Bell? We shall see. Tampa Bay at San Diego: Both teams are winning right now but one must stop and put their playoff hopes in danger. Will Jameis and the Bucs put pressure on Atlanta? Or will San Diego say that they are still alive despite being in a tough spot? Again, time will tell. Leave a Reply. |
