Mascot: Bengal tiger named Who Dey Why Bengals?: Took its name from an earlier Bengals team from 1937-1941. The Cincinnati Zoo was also home to a rare white bengal, which also helped. Famous Chant: "Who Dey" has been used since 1980. The entire chant is "Who dey, who dey, who dey think gonna beat dem Bengals?" and they answer, "NOBODY." because that's what you do. Contributions to NFL: No-huddle offense, West Coast offense, and zone blitz were brought in by the Bengals (or in no-huddle's case, it was made popular by them.) Leave a Reply. |
