AFC Ah yes! The Dolphins look great and make a great case to get into the playoffs. This is great news since we haven't seen this team like this in a couple of years (we can say that for some of the other big franchises). Still sad but the two contenders are making this a race to watch. We won't see the Bengals or Browns in the playoffs (thought I would never say that... oh well.) It's fine though because I don't think Cincinnati can handle another blown playoff game. This division is sad but at least the Titans are looking better! Hey, Titans, go for it! Fight! Win! Make this race closer and show that Mariota and co. are improving!! That game between the Chiefs and Broncos was so good! Extreme nail-biter that truly showed how tough and exciting the West is right now (that statement only applies to the AFC... look below and you'll see why). NFC
Besides picking the mashed potatoes, here are my picks for today: Detroit wins this one. Minnesota is not who they were in the beginning, defense is tired and offense cannot score. I think Detroit can take advantage of them and win. Dallas wins this one. You like that? You like that! Why pick against one of the hottest teams right now? Washington is also 2-6 on Thanksgiving and are 1-6 vs. Dallas on this day. If they actually win today, I would expect a 'You like that' from Cousins because people favor Dallas for today. Pittsburgh wins this one. Sorry Tolzien but it's hard out there for a backup and this team could hardly figure it out with the starting QB. Antonio Brown is still great and he can have a great game for Pittsburgh today.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! Enjoy THREE games today!! All of them will be food because Minnesota and Detroit are fighting in their division as we speak so this will be an important game. Dallas and Washington have bad blood between them so expect some tension and probably a close game. Pittsburgh and Indianapolis should be interesting because Scott Tolzien will come in for Andrew Luck (concussion). Tolzien is experienced in being a backup so Colts fans shouldn't worry too much but the Steelers can definitely win.
Texans are playing the Raiders in Mexico City right now and it's 3-0 towards the end of the first. It's pretty nice to see the large number of fans there right now.
Do you think a team will exist in Mexico in the future? En español: Los Texans están jugando el Raiders en México ahora y es 3-0, los Texans. Es bueno que hay muchos fanáticos allí. ¿Crees un equipo existirá en México en el futuro? AFC East *Come from behind wins from Miami have helped their playoff hopes stay alive in terms of the wild card race. Unless New England chokes in their next six games, it looks good for the Patriots to remain supreme again. North This clearly a Baltimore vs. Pittsburgh race as the Bengals continue to struggle and let's not talk too much about the Browns, they suffer enough already. Both have easier matchups in the upcoming week, so it really comes down to who plays better when they face off in Week 16. At that time, we may know who will take over or they could keep up with each other and make it very interesting. South Even a loss to the Raiders could not take down the Texans! That shows how weak this division is but everyone is fairly close to each other and anyone could take it, only if they choose to step it up. Some will have to face AFC West teams which can really hurt them (look at the strength!) but almost anyone can win it this year (except for Jacksonville, sorry). West Oh my goodness!! At least two teams here will go to the playoffs unless something crazy happens. Who would've thought Oakland would do this? Also, Kansas City consistently puts up good years and they can take it from the Raiders or get a good wild card. Denver is still not out though and they can sneak by too. Time will tell and it will be worth listening too. NFC West South North East
Hello!! Today's week will begin with a good ole Southern rivalry! Do you wish to be a saint or are black cats more your thing? Anyways, tonight's game will have some bad blood and will definitely be good to watch. These teams always bring out the best (and worst behaviour) out of each other. So watch out for the sack totals and penalty yards because they could be high. Games to watch:
Jacksonville vs. Detroit Why: Detroit is currently tied for first and needs this win to keep the momentum going. Tennessee vs. Indianapolis Why: Tennessee blew out Green Bay, 47-25, last week. Indianapolis was off last week so this will be interesting. Arizona vs. Minnesota Why: Both teams really need to win right now if they want to keep up in their division races. Miami vs. Los Angeles Why: Even though I said he would not start last week, Jared Goff is starting! The impossible has become probable!! Dolphins are fresh off a tough win in San Diego (the other Southern Californian team) and will try to spoil Goff's debut. Happy Thursday! Tonight's game will be out in Baltimore as Cleveland tries to find their first win of the season against the first place team in their division. Miracles can happen, right? Game (s) to watch: Los Angeles at New York: Will Jared Goff come in?! Nope. No matter how much Rams fans chant for him to come in, the coach does not care. There's a specific plan for him to come in and his time will most likely not be this season. Rams need to stick it out with Case Keenum and try to make it through this season. Minnesota at Washington: Minnesota is trending downward right now (with Detroit at their heels) and Washington is stuck in a tough race in the NFC East (did not think I would say that!). This game will feature a good fight from both teams as they are trying to help out their cases. Miami at San Diego: Though Miami's competition is far away, they can still fight to get a wild card. Miami looks good while San Diego has finally found a way to win. The major problem for San Diego is that their division found that way earlier and everyone else is doing better than them. Dallas at Pittsburgh:
Dallas is always a good team to watch this season, but if you're sick of all the talk about them, then watch one of the earlier games. If you like them, good for you! Dak Prescott is doing great and you have a right to be happy! Before the action ramps up again tomorrow, here's how everyone is doing right now! AFCAverage winning percentage: .660. Amazing turnaround since last year the division was split in half and looked more like the 'haves vs. have nots' than the AFC West. Very impressed with this division so far this year. NFCWho would've thought this division would be that strong?! The average winning percentage is .625, which is good and not one team here has a losing record. I wonder what's going on here...
Battle of the South tonight! Will the cannons in Tampa keep Atlanta off their game tonight? Or will Atlanta establish their dominance in the South once again?
Atlanta is 2-1 and Tampa is 2-0 in Division play... Let's see how this will play out tonight. |
