Mascot: Bengal tiger named Who Dey Why Bengals?: Took its name from an earlier Bengals team from 1937-1941. The Cincinnati Zoo was also home to a rare white bengal, which also helped. Famous Chant: "Who Dey" has been used since 1980. The entire chant is "Who dey, who dey, who dey think gonna beat dem Bengals?" and they answer, "NOBODY." because that's what you do. Contributions to NFL: No-huddle offense, West Coast offense, and zone blitz were brought in by the Bengals (or in no-huddle's case, it was made popular by them.) When the Bears won the Super Bowl in 1985, they released a rap song and it was actually popular. I had to share the link here because this is an important artifact of history: https://youtu.be/5VG4z2L93ik The Bears have many legends on the team and here's the list of the Hall of Famers from the Hall of Fame's website. Yesterday, news came out that we lost Ravens cornerback, Tray Walker, to a dirt bike crash from Thursday. The news is absolutely tragic because he was only 23 years old and still had plenty of time to make an impact in his career. He also was a great man and had a great heart. He will surely be missed by teammates, coaches, friends, and family. All condolences go out to his family at this time.
Walker's passing also reminds us that life is short. We are not invincible and we have to value our lives. We should spend time with friends and family and really build great relationships with them. We never know when they could be gone. Also, Walker was not wearing a helmet or bright clothing when he crashed, so the other vehicle that hit him couldn't see him. Please remember to always wear a helmet when riding a bike and wear bright clothing at night. These things happen and we must try and prevent them as much as we can. Be safe and remember that life is sacred. We will miss you, Tray.
This documentary goes more in detail with the band in Baltimore and the controversy when the former team was moved from Baltimore to Indianapolis.
*Correction: The poster says 2014, when the Ravens actually won in 2012. Sorry for the wrong information!
