Jamal Adams may be the best steal in the draft for the New York Jets after falling to No. 6. Very few safeties have even been picked in the top 5 in the past, so just Adams being at 6 is a big deal. He already has fans hopeful in New York, and it takes a lot to make one of the miserable fan bases that way.
Here's some facts on the man who is can change things up in New York:
Stats at LSU:
We hope that Adams is everything that Jets fans hope for and more!
Also on a more serious note, I do not condone or agree with his previous comments about being content with dying on the field because CTE is a serious issue that should not be seen that way. I still do support Adams as a player but do not support all players' views on certain topics.
Music City has a new target for Mariota this season in Western Michigan's Corey Davis. If you're not familiar with Davis or Western Michigan, that's okay because you're about to learn some cool facts:
Stats at Western Michigan:
Hopefully he can heal from his slight hamstring injury so he can make things happen for the Titans!
Try to catch him before he's gone! Jaguar fans rejoice and AFC South fans get ready for the latest running back to come through Jacksonville and improve their offense. It's time to learn more about the star running back from Louisiana State who was the front runner for the good class of his position this year.
Average Yards Per Carry:
Sophomore- 253 (1 TD)
Consensus All-America in 2015
I hope this gets fans excited because this is going to be a new level for Fournette to flourish in!
It's now time to meet the defensive end from Stanford, who is going so far away to play for... the San Francisco 49ers. In all seriousness, let's find out what this new player is about:
Sacks: Sophomore Year- 3.5, Junior Year- 8.5
Touchdowns: 1 (Junior Year)
Solo Tackles: Sophomore Year- 23, Junior Year- 40
Assisted Tackles: Sophomore Year- 14, Junior Year- 21
Third in Pac-12 Conference with 14 tackles for loss.
Definitely can't wait to see what this truly interesting man can do on the field for the 49ers this year.
Welcome to the second edition of knowing the 2017 NFL Draft class! Today we will meet the quarterback who may become the starter for the Chicago Bears after Jay Cutler's retirement. The only thing stopping him is veteran quarterback Mike Glennon who may win the job due to his experience. For now, let's meet the former Tarheel and see what sets him apart.
Completion Percentage- 68.0
QB Rating- 157.9
*All from junior year at University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
Hopefully he can impress the team during training camp going on now! See you soon!
In honor of training camp beginning tomorrow for some teams, it's time that we are introduced (or reintroduced) to our new class of rookies.
Let's start with the first pick of the Draft, the defensive end who can hopefully help out the Browns this year!
College Statistics at Texas A&M:
Sacks- 31 total (11.0, 11.5, 8.5)
Solo Tackles- 81 (26, 37, 18)
Assisted Tackles- 60 (23, 22, 15)
Total Tackles- 141 (49, 59, 33)
Forced Fumbles- 7 (0, 5, 2)
*Note: Garrett was limited in his last season due to an ankle injury.
Need to know even more about the person off the field? Then read this piece written by his own father about who Garrett really is. It's definitely worth the read and gets you ready for a new season.
Hope you enjoyed learning about who Myles Garrett is as a player and person and remember to look for him this season on the Browns! More rookies will follow soon!
The short hiatus had to be broken for this...
I will definitely check up on what this means for this season and beyond.
Where to begin? The greatest comeback of all time in the Super Bowl and the first ever game to go to OT happened tonight. What else happened? Oh yeah. The record for most Super Bowl wins for a quarterback was broken. If you want to be the best quarterback of all time, you need to win 6 Super Bowls (for now). The best quarterback and coach combo of all time came together for a storybook win tonight, but it would have not been possible without the help of their talented friends.
Every Super Bowl needs a memorable play and Julian Edelman's amazing catch in the fourth quarter proved to be it. I don't think a catch has been as amazing as that, unless you want to argue the 'Helmet Catch' then I would be stumped.
James White (a FOURTH rounder) broke the record for most catches in a Super Bowl with 14 receptions that went for 110 yards. White is known for catching the game-tying/saving TD in the fourth AND the game winner that sealed the best comeback in football's biggest game.
Usually the receiver who has the most receptions and catches the two most crucial touchdowns or the one who makes the craziest play would win all the attention, but when you have a Hall of Fame quarterback (he's going in soon!) that seals himself as the greatest of all time, you really know that there is something special.
What a way to end the year.
Let's lighten things up before we all watch the intense game later!
These always make me laugh every year when the postseason comes around for almost every sport (waiting for hockey...). I just love Guillermo and how he is willing to put himself out there like that.
I nearly screamed when I saw that this year's edition is here! Every year these come out, and every time I manage to laugh at something. Listen closely to hear everything your favorite players are saying!
Want to know what people are thinking about for every little aspect of the game? Look no further to what the Coyotes are saying! If you're going to value an opinion, value the Coyotes' opinions! Or try the guys below too...
This is who I was referring to for the guys below... This video is pretty split but there are some who say the wrong teams (Looking at you, PK!). Definitely a good laugh but also tells a little about each player and their preferences.

If you chose mostly A's...
A = Atlanta!
Rise up and rock your red, white, and black because you are now knighted as a Falcons fan... for a temporary time. Maybe you can one day tell your children about the time you witnessed the Falcons winning their first Super Bowl and how big of a fan you are to this day. Enjoy rooting for America's team because the only people who aren't going for them are from New England and the NFC South cities, so America has your back!
If you chose mostly B's...
B= Boston, a city in the New England region!
Congrats on joining the journey of Tom Brady becoming even more one of the greatest of all time. Not many people like this team but crowd following is overrated. It's time to silence the haters again because this team constantly has to do that every year when they make the playoffs. Enjoy the Dark Side, they have lobster and rings, unlike Atlanta.
